About Alice

I am a mother, a homeowner, and a lifelong activist. I have lived in Massachusetts with my husband and daughter for over 20 years and made Salem my home in 2012.

I attended Salter College for business and worked as an office manager in New York City before becoming a music teacher when I became a mother. I currently teach in my community for a small, family-owned business. Additionally, I am a board member of my self-managed condominium association.

I am passionate about serving my community through my volunteer work. I lobby for Automatic Voter Registration, and work with Common Cause Massachusetts, an organization dedicated to integrity in elections and transparency in government. I am a regular volunteer with the Salem Food Pantry, and I have been consistently active in Salem's local elections.   I also worked on Salem's "Yes on One" campaign to maintain our ordinance protecting immigrants. I am a supporter of organizations such as No Place for Hate, MoveOn, and the Sierra Club.

I am running to be your Register of Deeds because I see a real opportunity for this office to better serve our communities. I am excited to bring my passion for community and public service to the Register of Deeds' office.
